We took an SQ flight, transit in Singapore for around 2 hours and went directly to Saigon afterwards… I booked it online.. utilizing our milage as a krisfyer member.. This is something that I’ve done since i started to fly abroad frequently..
The good thing about booking online is that you can always choose your seat in advance.. I managed to get the last row seat with only two passangers… that’s great .. so we did not have to annoy other passenger with our chatty girly laugh.. =))… the great things atbout travelling with your best friend is that you can just laugh at anything…
At the airport in Jakarta, my best friend, Dj (her name is actually Djamilah.. but we chose to call her Dj.. she refused at the beginning.. but give in at the end.. hehehe) asked some burmanese to take our picture.. We didnt even know this guy.. yeah.. that’s my gal.. somehow she always has a much better social skill than I do… That’s the benefit of travelling with her..
Whilst, Im always be the very planned and organized one.. I always prepare a list.. of things to do.. things buy.. with every single detail itinerary.. and tried to stick to the sched.. though sometime its too ambitious.. and I can be a pain in the ass when it comes to this.. And the worse thing is.. I always so authistic and selfish when it comes to taking photographs.. Only her and my hubby who understand this very much and be very patient about it … 
)
We arrived at the airport and picked up by the hotel limo (well.. since the objective of this trip was to have a getaway from the problem at home.. I wasnt planning to hassle myself with small detail things such finding taxi at the airport).. The driver was very polite..
At the hotel, we were greeted by a very nice lady who wear a traditional vietnamese dress. We were directed to our room.. and check in process were done at the room.. Wow.. this is great.. the service was excellent.. and the room was great… it has a balcony with pool view.. The interior had some chinese elements in it.. but not in the extreme kind of way.. its all just about right… we were so impressed and happy…
