This amount could be higher or lower, just depending on the surgeon, and if they have any discounts or specials at the time, so this price is not definite. In most cases you can do this if you have good credit. They will normally need at least half the cost of the procedure upfront as a deposit before you have the laser eye surgery. After you have the surgery you will need to make monthly payments until the surgery is paid in full. many people use this method because they can get their surgery done without having to pay the full cost up front.

Each year when you have your appointment at your optometrist, and buy your contacts or glasses, match what you pay your eye doctor into a savings account. You could try to double it if you are able to. This will have you with enough money to pay for the surgery in 4-5 years. I know that seems like a huge long term goal, but it would be worth it, when it came time to have your appointment, but realize you have enough money saved to go have the entire surgery! No loans! This is what I am trying to do personally.
