The day started with a leisurely breakfast then on with the riding gear as the lovely blue sky started to dull over but to no avail the commitment was to put 30Km on the clock for the first day of the year even if it ment riding in the rain with luck this did not happen.
This will be one of many training rides in the build up to the Futures ‘10 Project fund raising ride in Cambodia & Vietnam in June/July of this year.

mi vida hoy es el ultimo dia del año!! fuimos al reliant stadium, ahi juegan los houston texans (nfl..) y fuimos al texas bowl, que es uno de los campeonatos de las universidades de estados unidos, fue missouri vs navy, estuvo buenisimo!!! gano la navy como 35-13 o algo asi. hoy en la noche vamos a pasar el año nuevo en un lugarcito en downtown, vamos a cenar ahi y todo. ojala que pudieras estar conmigo…te amo mucho y te mando muchos besos!!

Left “Rose Stone Hotel” this morning. Mom feels better after a dose of 10pills…
Had some congee and weird nut like things that look like oxes (ling jiao) for breakfast…
Our cabby friend and his wife picked us up and we’re traveling down the inside of the east coast. there’s lakes and hillsides with apparent glow and the dark mushrooms.
We’re stopping at a spa at Reishui for sulphurous hot springs and then head to our orchard B&B “wisdom garden”.
We are teaching the cabby and his wife how to speak english and they made us hot ginger tea for the ride.
Happy new years Canada! The future is lookin good
