Scar is the inevitable result after the wound healing. As to the different reasons, such as: race, age, injured parts, physical status and other factors, the scars are different. However, the scar produces different effects to patient’s life and work, so it needs the treatment. The main treatment methods show as follows:
　　
1. Non-surgical therapy: Some scars needn’t surgery or before the surgery, please apply compression therapy, medication, radiotherapy and other treatment methods.

2. Skin Dermabrasion (Surfacing): To the scar with soft and smooth surface, please use machine profile to restore skin color better and realize the treatment goal.

3. Scar loose partial-shaped surgery: As to the cord and webbed scar with small tension, the scar can be removed firstly, and then, to use well skin tissue forming skin flap, and to repair scar skin defect by cross-transposition.

4. Scar removal free skin grafting: Larger hypertrophic scars could be removed from the body by surgery, and cut free skin graft from normal parts to the wound scar so as to repair the wound and restore the functions of the body.

6. Tissue expander method: For some of the joints or facial scar contracture, you could use skin tissue expander to repair; this method is created in recent years.

In short, there are a lot of scar treatment methods with better efficacy. But treatment is a systematic project, different scars need different methods. The patient shall cooperate closely with doctors and will get good effect after a period of time.
