The breast implants basically unaffect the future breast-feeding, but if the accidents occur in the operation, it is inevitable to avoid breast-feeding problems.
Accidental factors influence breast-feeding
As to the current medical standards, as well as the choice of materials and technology, the breast implants are safe to a large extent, so it will not affect the future of women breast-feeding. However, if some accidents appear which spread to galactophore and make the galactophore infection, phyma and fibrosis, they probably affect the normal physiological functions of the breast and produce lactation obstacles.
One reason: break of prosthesis
Because of the quality problem or external trauma, the prosthesis breaks and infiltrates breast tissues, which are most likely to block the galactophore duct. If there is no timely treatment or no disposal and solution, it may also influence the secretion and excretion of latex and emerge breast-feeding problems.
Solution: 1. anti-infection; 2. taking out of cracked prosthesis; 3. if there is abscess, please have a surgery; 4. incision, drainage.
Second reason: infection, bleeding
Trauma in surgery is inevitable, so the postoperative treatment is essential. Once there is infection or bleeding wound, which involves galactophore and produce mastitis, fibrosis of the breast, breast lumps, and so on.
Solution: 1. stop bleeding, anti-infection; 2. remove the prosthesis; 3. foment and physical therapy; 4. liquid silicone is banned so as to prevent the flow and appear exosmosis.
